Whether you are an IT professional, technology enthusiast, independent entrepreneur, venture capitalist, web guru, motivated student, or just a big geek (like us), you are invited to participate. We are looking for both presenters and attendees.

If you are passionate about:

{ Information Technology | Entrepreneurism | Startups | Web 2.0 | Internet | Social Computing | Emerging Technologies | Tech-Art | Digital Media | Research and Development | Blogging | Web Development | Open Source | Computer Gaming | Infotainment | Security | Privacy | Mashups | Activism | Distributed Computing | Evangelism | Techno-Gadgets }

and can give a 5-minute presentation that highlights:

{ innovation | creativity | humor | freedom | community | entertainment }

we want to you to contribute.

IgniteIT will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 as part of the Emerging Technologies Conference from 5:30 pm - 11pm at the ISU Research Park Rotunda (2321 North Loop Drive, Ames). The event is free and open to the public, but you must register as an attendee in order to attend or present. We're asking that you be at least 18 years old to attend, but if you're not and wish you could come, let us know; we may change this next year.
